ATHENS ASTRAL PROJECTION CLINIC
Notes
We have absolutely nothing to say. We have nothing to add. The same sentiment is shared by our contributors.
Despite the rich cultural history this city holds, every show that is assembled by major museums feels devoid of character. ΕΜΣΤ fills you with an inexplicable feeling of dread. The B&E foundation consistently relies on blue-chip work to establish it as a cultural hub and they still fall flat. The National Gallery has yet to recover from Papadopoulos’ acts of vandalism, leaving the space with a grim feeling on the future of art in Greece. The Benaki Museum has never put on a good show. Ever.
We sincerely hope that this overwhelming sterility eventually wears off when it comes to the Athenian museum space, but it seems as if this is a lost cause.
